Partner James Weliky Presented with the MCLE 2021-2022 Scholar-Mentor Award

MRW is proud to announce that partner James Weliky was recently recognized with a “Scholar-Mentor Award” from Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education Inc. (MCLE). Presented at the Annual Employment Law Conference, the award celebrates “outstanding individuals who have ‘raised the bar’ through their career-long contributions to the continuing legal education of the bar and their exceptional service to the legal profession by volunteering their time and expertise to MCLE programs and publications.” Jim has been serving on MCLE panels of expert employment lawyers speaking on topics of concern to the employment bar throughout his career. Since 2000 he’s served on more than 65 such panels. Most recently he spoke at MCLE’s December 3, 2021 employment law conference on the topics of the “Great Resignation” and recent labor activism. On January 27, 2022 he’ll be a panelist on the MCLE’s “Employment Law for Business Lawyers” for the in-house counsel panel, where he’s been a regular panelist for many years and on April 5, 2022, he’ll be leading a panel of practitioners and MCAD officials on the MCLE’s “Inner Workings of the MCAD” program.
