NELA Spring Seminar- Effectively Combating Retaliatory Counterclaims & Countersuits
Counterclaims and countersuits have an understandably intimidating effect on employees engaged in costly litigation with a better financed employer. Join Messing, Rudavsky & Weliky, P.C. partner Ellen Messing this Friday and Saturday, April 8-9, 2016, at the National Employment Lawyer’s Association’s Spring Seminar on Retaliation and Whistleblowing. Attorney Messing will be co-presenting Effectively Combating Retaliatory Counterclaims & Countersuits with friend of the firm Attorney Jason Zuckerman on Saturday morning from 10:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Attorneys Messing and Zuckerman are all too familiar with defending whistleblowers, victims of workplace discrimination, and other employees who find themselves in such an unenviable position: beset by accusations of violating overly broad confidentiality agreements or other obscure workplace policies in response to the employee’s pending lawsuit. The panelists look forward to sharing their expertise in defending against such retaliatory claims with those in attendance as we continue to seek justice in the workplace together.
