Dahlia Rudavsky & Ellen Messing Featured on Noncompete Law Podcast!

We are excited to share that Messing, Rudavsky & Weliky partners Dahlia Rudavsky and Ellen Messing recently appeared as guests on the Massachusetts Bar Association’s MassBar Beat podcast! In the [thirty-minute long] interview, Rudavsky and Messing discuss their recent article published in the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Section Review, which expresses the previously overlooked plaintiff’s perspective on the Massachusetts Noncompetition Agreement Act, a new Massachusetts statute that governs noncompete agreements in the state.

Titled An Employee Perspective on The New Noncompete Laws, Rudavsky and Messing’s article details six important upgrades from the existing “uncertain, unregulated common-law jurisprudence that employees have been up against.” The article also responds to previously published management-side commentary on the Act, which largely overlooked the rights employees gained under the new law. Rudavsky and Messing also gave an overview of employee rights as part of the podcast discussion.
